Any way to get nail polish out of blanket?


Question:My 5 yr old cousin spilled nail polish all over one of my aunts wedding quilts that she made. My aunt is gone for the weekend on vacation, anyone knwo a good way to try to get it out of the quilt, theres a lil bit on the sheet too? Any ideas would be a great help! thanks!!

Try nail polish remover then Hairspary thats how I got it out of my shirt.


Acetone is sold in larger cans at home centers, it is the same as nail polish remover but cheaper. Use that.
try nail polish remover. use a cottong ball to tab it of and carefully and quickly dab it off. it might not all come off though. the problem ids that acitone can "eat" or burn fabric.
If you use nail polish remover becareful not to remove the colour from the quilt. If it's really valuable take it to a professional it might cost but it won't get damaged.
Try nail polish remover and if all else fails take it to the dry cleaners.
