In the laundry isle at most stores you can get dye remover made by Ritz, there are other brands too that work well. Follow the directions on the package to have best results.
Take a look at the tag. If you can bleach the trousers then you might soak them with a solution of water and a bit of bleach. If not, try the Rit colour remover. Worst case scenario, you can't get it out at all then you might consider dyeing them a dark colour.
What goes in must come out. If the yellow is so unstable that it moved from one garment to another, then it can become unstable again with water. Look at the washing instructions on the white trousers. If is says DON'T SOAK, well all you can do is keep washing them every time washday comes around and eventually the yellow will fade. If you scorch a yellow colour in with the iron, onto white fabric, hanging the garment in the sun will take the yellow away. But whether yellow scorch marks can be treated the same as yellow dye marks, or vice versa, I dunno.
try hairspray, but it will take some time and effort i got highlighter (yellow) off of a skirt (white) but it kept me working on it don't give up
