Can you use frontloader washing machine powder in a normal washing machine?

Question:

Answers:
No! Powders and liquids for front loaders are different from top loader ones! Front loaders use much less water than top loaders and so powders are of a different formulation. If you use one type of powder in the wrong machine you can risk having TONS of foam trying to escape from the machine and ruining it. I think this is most problematic if you try to use top loader powder in a front loader machine.

Yes, it cleans the same way, front loads have the same horse power.
I know at the laundomat, if you use the frontloaders, you need to use half of soap/bleach etc., so you'd just use more frontloader powder in a regular machine.
