My washer and dryer makes my clothes stink?

Question:it probably needs to be cleaned, how do you clean those?

Answers:
Run vinegar through the washing machine. The dryer smell is probably coming from the seal around the door. You can dry on a lower setting or replace the seal.

I notice this when I have to use a laundromat. But, when I use my washer/dryer at home, I have no problems with the odors.

Run a load through with the hottest water available. Add chlorine bleach to the water. Use a cloth and wipe up under the rim. Usually thats where mold and mildew hide. Your dryer may need the air vent removed and the lint cleaned out of the hose.
To clean the washer I would run it several times without any clothes in it and add some peroxide also make sure you wipe it out after every load and Cleon the filter like thing in the middle. The dryer needs to be vacuumed out at least once a month. Have you had you water checked it may not be the washer or dryer maybe something in your water? If you have city water you should be fine unless your sewage is backing up into the washer. If you happen to live in a very rural area where you are lucky enough to have well water you may have a problem with your well. I suggest having it checked out.
It's not the washer and dryer it is the fabric of the clothing or the detergent you're using. Read the bottle of detergent and the tag from the peice of clothing that you are about to wear and see if you have to wash this in cold water, hot water, etc.
Just add a cup of ammonia with your laundry detergent...or...you can add a cup of vinegar in your rinse cycle. Sometimes I do both.
use the hottest water and use dishwasher soap..then rinse, and rinse again, in final rinse add some vinegar.see if that helps washer
the dryer--wash it best you can with a damp cloth to see if anything comes off on rag, if so scrub until it's clean on the rag, if your rag stays clean, you can put a half of a lemon in a container with no lid and leave in closed dryer--don't turn it on--for overnight, and then smell in the morning
According to Heloise she says fill your washer with water and add a 1/2 gallon of white vinegar. and let it run thru as if you are washing clothes.
Take a cloth and dip in in 1/2 cup of vinegar and 3 cups of water ring it out and use the cloth to clean out your dryer. Make sure you clean the filter of all the lint.
wash the water with a crap load of vinegar..like put it on hot and run it like your washing clothes..with no clothes

no idea for the dryer
