Bagless vacuems?
Question:how do u clean a hoover bagless vacuems filter? we bought at a sale and it smells like dog? how do i clean and get the smell out of it?

was the filter in warm soapy water and maybe an odor remover for pet smells. let dry for at least18-24 hours to ensure it is completely dry so that it doesn't clog easy due to wetness
What make is the vacuum. I have a Dyson, and the filter just pops out you wash it in warm water and leave to dry for 12 hrs. But as I don´t know the brand of vacuum, I can´t suggest anything
I've cleaned my Shark filter with warm water and Yardley soap and that seems to work for me. I also let it dry for a day.
I'm not sure if you can clean it or not, but it might help get the smell out if you use one of those powder carpet and room fresheners. When you vacume it up it makes the vacume cleaner smell nice. Hope this helps!
do you have use of a compressor? if so blow it out and if its a perminent filter wash it out and let it air dry
Wipe it out with white vinegar.
