Why am I getting blue spots on my clothes while in the washer?

Question:The spots are pea size and blue. The detergant I am using is green! I dont use bleach so I really have no clue. Is there any way I can clean the washer?

Answers:
Blue is a color component of green...remember yellow and blue make green. What is actually happening is that you are allowing the detergent to rest on your clothing especially white clothing. Try starting the fill cycle on your washer and applying the detergent directly to the water. Once it fills slightly and the detergent is distributed, add your clothing. Additionally, put fewer clothes in the washer. This will give you clothes more room to agitate and detergent will not sit on the clothing.

Take the pens out of your pocket before washing.
I'm guessing "pea size spots" are washer's holes. It will disappear when you put in the dryer. I think you don't need to worry about it.
If you think its the washer, run an empty cycle on the washer. It will rinse out any dyes or dirt in there.
