Firstly, what kind of hair dye? Is it a bleach or a lightener? Is the stain lighter in color than the rest of the carpet?
If so, then there's no removing it, as the "stain" has actually removed color from your carpet. The solution is to get carpet dye or fabric dye and try to color the "stain" to match.
If the hair dye has made the stain darker than the carpet color, then there really is nothing you can do.
OXY-CLEAN
I'd go to wal mart in the laundry ails and look for RIT dye. RIT makes a dye remover that you might be able to use on your carpet.
