If the article has been washed and dried that may be tough. If not rub in some Dawn dish soap and let it set for about an hour. Then wash them in hot water by themselves. The Dawn usually works even after you have washed and dried the article. I use dawn to get out grease stains from work and its a lot nastier than BBQ stains. It should work.
Try soaking them in water and detergent overnight. That usually does it for me, but I think you'll get a better answer from someone who knows more.

Soak them in hot water with Oxi Clean. That stuff is amazing.
Start ur wash. Pour 1 can of coke. Thats what I do when my husband has grease on his clothes. good luck.
