When i use bleach in the washwer, the bleach is not uniform?
Question:it is very patchy. Any best practices for bleaching ?
Answers:
make sure your washer isn't over packed and the items in it float freely in the bleach water.
Fill the washer with water, start the agitation, add the bleach, let it mix well, then add the garments. Hope you're not bleaching colors - are you? Use non chlorine bleach if so.
Dilute the bleach as it goes into the machine.
Start to fill your washer, put the bleach in and stir it around and then add detergent. Let it fill some before adding laundry.
don't pour directly on fabric, you'll ruin them
dilute bleach in a glass jar and pour into dispenser.
if you don't have a dispenser pour it into the water and let agitation start before you put your clothes in. don't bleach colors. only whites. a rule of thumb: a little bleach goes along way. about 1/4 cup to 4 parts water
