Just a little question for arachnophobes... (did I spell it right?)?
Question:Has a spider ever stopped you from doing something? (Lets say, something IMPORTANT?)
(LOL, I couldn't find a good category!)
Answers:
The only time a spider really scared me was about 8 years ago. At the time I was at home, in a rocking chair feeding my newborn when a huge hairy spider (not a Tarantula) appeared on the wall. I slowly layed my child down on the carpet went to the kitchen and got some bug spray. I went over to where the spider was and, like it knew what I was going to do, it ran. I spent about 20 minutes chasing it and losing it and finding it and chasing it again until I could spray it, all the while screaming at every little thing, thinking it was going to jump on me. My baby slept on the floor through the whole incident. I was obsessed that day because it was like no other spider I had ever seen.
heath? perhaps? Psych??
ah well Fear of The Spiders..and yes to both your questions.
I tend to throw something buckler and heavy at them.

-Driving...one decided to creep down on a web in front of me and landed on my steering wheel.
-Showering...spider hanging out in the tub by the drain.
BTW...I don't kill them. I put them outside.
Yes, using my backshed, a hairy ole goomer was there, in bathroom, big big one in bathtub, in car crawling around like he owned the thing, God, I guess he did, I wouldn't get in it!
oh, yes im very fearfull of spiders.ive had a bad past. well if there is one in my bedroom i will not go in there unless i see it killed and removed from my room. i will then clean my room for 3 hours. and i will not go in my bedroom for about 2 months untill ive got over it. once there was this masive one on the floor. i didnt see it killed so i moved rooms and slept at my mates house for a week while i was moving rooms.
Sorry. I'm so dizzy after reading all of the details here, I can't think clearly enough to answer.
So I guess that's my answer. Even the THOUGHT of a spider has prevented me from thinking of a better answer.
