Best dustbuster?
Question:
Answers:
Hands down, the best one out there, is the "Dirt Devil". Been there forever, they never break down, and they are fire engine red so ya can't lose em.
Yep, the Dirtdevil is the best one there is really. If you hit the local Salvation thrift there will be about 2 or 5 sitting there all tangled up, but all the same...the world over? Well, I suppose that's allot of Xmas's eh'? They are a big gift item.
The B&D dustbuster is nothing short of a joke...
so go to the Salvation army, or if that is shameful to you, ask the butler to go, and then of all of the ones marked $2.92 and the one marked $5.95, tinker with them until one works. you might have to pop off a belt here and a bag there, but make sure it has the little cover for the hole on the front where the belt goes, and it doesn't shriek when it's turned on. That would mean the fan has a broken blade(s).
Personally I swear by my good old Rainbow D2. It is small, though not handheld, it can pick up wet and dry messes, has no filters and won't lose suction way more than the DieSons ever claim to not lose it. Afterall it is NOT suction that cleans floors "properly", it is AIRFLOW!!!! AND the Hoover Windtunnel came along and solved that one. That's just plain old respectible scientific FACT
Now look at Hoover, they're gone forever, but the rep at Dirtdevil, who bought Hoover says that they will "keep the Hoover name...We've found that Hoover owners like to have their vacuums fixed..." Ah!...that bozo...what's that say about HIS brand? Sad uh? REAL SAD
The Dustbuster Wet/Dry hand vaccuum is the best I've ever used. My Dirtdevils were good, but this one picks up anything and lasts longer between chargings. It is a bit heavy, though.
