How do you remove black permanent marker a la Sharpie?

Question:Does anyone have info?

Answers:
TayLee is correct. Try common rubbing alcohol first. I used a sharpie on a DVD and my writing was so horrible that I wanted to remove it. I wet some cotton and rubbed it on the Sharpie and it completely removed all the ink. What you could do is put some sharpie on an old rag then practice trying to remove it with alcohol from the rag and see what results you get.

Try hairspray. Wet the area with hairspray. Scrub with a brush. Then rinse.
Try baby oil
Rubbing alcohol.=)
You could also try using sunscreen. I've tested it by writing on my mom's kitchen counter top and it was completely removed!
If it's on a counter or wall or some other solid surface use a Mr Clean Sponge. Test it on an inconspicuous spot though because it can remove the paint off of walls if you rub too hard. It's worked on my white laminate counter tops.
