How do you remove blood stains from leather?

Question:I use a leather glove and I get hit by a metal stick occasionally, and sometimes the skin opens and blood is absorbed into my white leather glove. Fencing sport.
It comes out brown and coagulated. It's non washable since it's leather? Any quick remedies?

Answers:
If you are willing to take a chance, risking irreparable damage to the leather, you can try to remove the blood stains with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution or by covering the stains with a paste made of either salt or meat tenderizer and cold water. Let sit for 30 minutes, then sponge with cool water. Good Luck! =)
