An All purpose cleaner degreaser (such as simple green) will remove the stain easily, then you would want to shine it Sheila Shine is the best product for this you apply a small amount to a rag and wipe it on your fridge, it will protect it from finger prints aswell as clean it. There is also Misty Stainless steal cleaner, make sure you get the Oil base if you are able to find a janitorail dealer that sells Misty Products, it does a much better job on appliances..
use a very soft cloth! And try Dawn soap.

Yep. WD-40 does it. Then wash the WD-40 off with a non-abrasive dish soap.
