How do you get a ring out of the bathtub?
Question:I have tried bathroom cleaner with bleach and toilet-bowel cleaner. Does anyone know any tricks?
Answers:
I just had to clean a filthy vacant apartment and the tub had the worst ring I have ever seen. I used baking soda, vinegar and a scrub brush. It wiped right off!
Try a Magic Eraser, they work GREAT
Fill your tub with water and pour some bleach in it and let it set a few hours.
Use Softscrub w/bleach or liquid Comet w/bleach.
Slip the ring onto your finger and lift.
We have well water which stains everything. I use an SOS pad and comet and lots of elbow grease if you know what I mean. I do that for the really tough water stains. Regular dirt and stains, I use liquid Comet Bathroom Cleaner. You still need a sponge to wipe it all down and then rinse it.
Ditto! Then to keep it from reappearing , always use one of those shower sprays on the walls & tub. They will break down residues over time, then will maintain the shiny clean look. Two wonderful products for sure!
USE ZUD
Comet bathroom cleaner works really well. You can buy it at WalMart. The Magic Eraser was a good idea as well. It depends on the type of tub you have.
You need a little elbow grease thats the first thing, i clean bathtubs every day, and there is no product ive found where i absolutley dont have to scrub a little(the bad ones) so use some soft scrub with bleach, put some on a sponge, rub generously on the ring, let it sit for 5 minutes, and take your scrubby side of the sponge and it really shouldnt take much to get it off.and the soft scrub makes a tub sparkle!
