Enviromentally Friendly/ Low Cost Solutions?

Question:I like using enviromentally friendly low cost solutions to everyday living.

Examples: Making EF laundry soap and reuse a old container, I like to make my own bath soaps from lye and fats, I try to reuse all plastic bags before I recycle them.

Anyone have any ideas for more ways to save.

Answers:
Sure, you can make your own fabric softner by just adding plain white vinegar to the rinse cycle of the wash. this will make your clothes fluffy, lint free, and they will smell nice. Vinegar can also be used to clean other things in the home instead of buying store products just add some to a spray bottle and add some water and you have a window cleaner that is better than windex and is echo friendly. you can also mix this with baking soda and rinse down the drain for a echo freindly drain cleaner.
