OK Izzy~~
Are you just procrastinating?
Pick up you laundry and put it in your drawer~ Lol J/K
The general public has spoken. Laundry is laundry until its in the drawer.
:) good question.. you get a star~*
Yes. :) I think they cease to be laundry once they're in the drawer. ;)
yes
Metaphorically speaking, no. They are considered clean clothes.
Yeah until they're put away and out of sight they're still laundry to me.
You ever heard the term, "I have to fold the laundry."? Well, that's what I call it.
After they are cleaned and folded and ironed then picked up they are clothes again.
Yes...I tell me kids to fold the "clean laundry". :)
no laundry is clothing that needs to be washed
MMmmm Laundry Philosophy. I consider it laundry till its folded and put away. LOL
yeah, thats why we say "dirty" laundry needs to be washed. or the clean laundry is in the basket.
unless i am wearing them, i consider them laundry. "put the laundry in the washer" "put the clean laundry in the dresser" its the easiest thing to call them unless im wearing them. if im wearing them, theyre just clothes.
well think about it..clean laundry vs. dirty laundry.
"Go fold your laundry"
vs.
"Go wash your laundry"
clothes will always be laundry.
yes, they could still need folded or ironed. They are laundry until they are put away
no, its laundrieware
Yep laundry untill they are clean and put away ... cothes when put away or being worn, laundry again when they are back in the hamper waiting to be washed
Yes you still have to fold and put up the laundry
Laundry can be:
items of clothing and other textiles that require washing,
the act of washing clothing and textiles,
the room of a house in which this is done.
I know of dirty & clean laundry. Once you put away the clean one, it's no longer laundry.
they are when you have to put the laundry on the line or fold the laundry or put the laundry away. But once the clothes are in drawers or hanging in a closet, they're a wardrobe and when you wear them, they're just clothes until you have to wash them, when they're considered laundry again. Confusing, i know :p
of course it is. Whether clean or dirty. In Aust we mainly call it "washing"
Interesting question that I never thought of before! I don't think anyone would refer to them as laundry once they have been washed and put away. :-)
No. After they are clean, I either consider them "my clothes" unless.they are reclassified as "ironing."
If they are clean, dry, folded, ironed, put away and ready to wear again I would not consider them laundry until they are dirty and need to be cleaned all over again.
