I have done cleaning for people in the past and if I do it now on my day off,I dont leave the house for less than 60 dollars.That gives them at least 2 full hours of my time ,sometimes 2 and a half.If I am there more than that I charge extra.And I dont supply the cleaning supplies,everyone seems to like something differant.As far as de cluttering,everyone needs some of that,but I would do that for someone on a seperate day,not on their original cleaning day.And again,2 hours,60 dollars...
$15 to $20 per hour is fair if you perform as you say you will.
Depends on where you live and the going rate there. In my community it varies from a minimum of $25. per hour ( and it usually takes 4 hours for a 2 BR house) to $50. per hour (that's for a team of 2). Windows, inside cabinets and detailing is extra, of course.
Yes, it's reasonable for someone just starting out. I've had a lady that cleans for me for about 8 years now and she is always consistent, that means a lot. Others have provided less than efficient service with time, and that's just wrong. My person charges $20 fee for LESS THAN a 24 hour cancellation. She does not change linens anymore - which I miss and would pay extra for. She provides her own cleaning supplies - but I have the final say of whether she uses them or not - some chemicals are undesireable for me, too caustic or harsh. Hope this is good info for you.
