Build a bear need to be washed after lice were in the house... how do i keep him soft?

you don't wash him dear.put him in an airtight plastic bag for two weeks.wouldn't hurt to spray a little lice spray in the bag.but DON't WASH IT!!
you can put it in a zipped up pillow case or you could put it in the delicate cycle or you could spray the bear down with the lice killer spray in the washer add fabric softener to the rinse cycle
Any time I have something I need to wash and hope it doesn't fall apart, I use the delicate cycle with some Woolite. This detergent is specially made for soft fabric like cashmere or angora. I am sure it will work on your bear. Just make sure to use the delicate cycle on the washing machine---don't dry, but if you do, use warm or cool tumble dry. In case you live in an apartment with out a washer, try dry cleaning. Ask for special conditioners, dry cleaners will know what to put on stuffed toys to make them stay soft.
