How to remove oil stains from cotton?

Question:One of my favorite white cotton shirts got an oil stain on it, how can i remove it?

The orange degreaser that you use to clean your hands after working on vehicles works just as well if you rub it on the stain before you wash.Good Luck

Spray with WD-40 and wash. Sounds like it won't work or will make it worse but it doesn't. WD-40 is an oil base so it breaks down the existing oil and washes right out!
