Scraping it off may be the best bet. Depending on the size of the spot, you may have no choice but to use something like goof-off, which is harsh, but can be rubbed on and quickly rubbed off. Doesn't always work, but may work if the paint is relatively new.
Use the citrus-based remover that is totally benign, from the home center--I think it's called Citrusolve. It works overnight.
Scrape it off with a plastic putty knife covered with cloth.
