How can I divide the process of cleaning my room into small steps?

Question:

Answers:
First you have to divide everything into piles. (It will get worse before it gets better). Bring in a garbage bag for trash and walk around room with the bag and throw all trash away. Teh walk around and collect dishes and glasses and bring to the sink. Get a bag for donated items (what you want to get rid of) and a laundry basket. Put all items into these categories first, 1) Keep 2) throw away 3) give away. After you finish this process and actually throw away and give away what you don't want/ need, it should be quite a bit better already. Next step, organize what is left. Put everything in it's designated place (clothes in closet or dresser, etc.) If you are out of room for storage, I would suggest totes. There are many different sizes and they can fit almost anywhere. Finish up with a good cleaning. Pledge the wood, windex the glass and mirrors, vacuum and wash bedding. That should take care of it.

first divide until no remainder
Work around the room clockwise from the door. Or counter clockwise. Set a timer and only work on cleaning it up for a set amount of time. Stop when the timer goes off.

Do one hour of cleaning for five days and, unless your room is truly a disaster and/or you move things from one place to another within the room, you will find yourself amazed at how much clenaer everything is.
Just think really hard.
well you start with your closet ,then you clean under bed ,dressers, night stands, then you do open floor put everything away in its place.then do bedding change if needed and dust.last vacuum or sweep.you can do all on one day or two each day.then put away what u use and it will stay pretty clean.
1st pick up clothes
then and random things
make ur bed
like that
Start from the top, down.

1. Pick up the room to be cleaned, remove any clutter that does not belong and put it back WHERE IT GOES (don't just transfer a pile into another room). If there is clutter that does belong but is not organized, pile that and set it aside (out in a hallway if need be, out of the way).

2. Clean/dust all surfaces, such as a desk top, dresser top, etc and also dust off every item on it (printer, computer screen, cologne bottles, whatever).

3. Vaccuum floors.

4. Go through piles of junk and organize them. Buy storage containers if needed.

Your room is clean.
Draw imaginary lines to divide your room into 4 parts, then add the closet (so you will have a total of 5 parts). Have two bags ready, trash and donations. Get rid of everything you can part with (less junk , easier to keep clean). Find a home for every item you keep. Dust everything in that section. Continue doing a section daily for 5 days total. Then after everything is neat clean and dusted, clean your floors, windowsills, walls, etc. On the seventh day, lay in bed, enjoy your hard work, and keep everything put away daily. Once a week, dust and change your sheets, clean you floor- you'll have everything under control from here on in!
The thing to do is start up high, then work down.Imagine there is a sectioned line dividing the room. All dust drops down, not up...Good luck..
By picking up a little every day , and puttingn stuff away. That way it gets done, little by little, but it gets done. Once you get it clean, then just kind of keep picking up after yourself, and you will be keep ahead of your self.
