How can i get out a oxide stain from a gold watch?

Question:i got a gold color watch, i got it out of the box and had this oxide stains, how can i get them out??

Answers:
First of all, your watch isn't real gold, because that doesn't oxidize. You have a type of tarnish on the metal, and you need a suitable tarnish remover. I would suggest taking your watch to a jeweller and asking them what kind of tarnish remover you should use, because they will recongnize the type of metal in the watch.

you can try using toothpaste. rub it with a piece of cotton fabric, but don't wash it or rinse it with tap water, unless it's waterproof, okay.
