How do I remove the price stickers residue from a plastic glass?
Question:
Answers:
Rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.
usually letting it sit in warm soapy water for a time will loosen it up and it slides right off
If you put vegetable oil on a napkin or cotton ball and rub it over the sticker it will slide right off.
That removes paint from skin too by the way, it works better then turpentine.
Goo Gone.
Goo Gone is the best, but the vegetable oil will work and so will the soapy water. Another thing you could try is alcohol on a cotton swab and just scrub it off. The only thing that will work without any scrubbing is the Goo Gone. Otherwise, you'll have to use a little elbow grease with the other remedies.
I soak my plastic jars in baking soda, it works excellent !
hot soapy water as a soak should work and if this does not, try acetone nail polish remover.
I would usually say that Goo Gone is the best at removing sticker gunk, but you have to be careful when using it on plastic. I have rubbed Goo Gone on plastic before and seen the plastic begin to melt and warp, as well as take the color off.
In most situation (i.e. glass, wood), Goo Gone is great. For plastics, I recommend using warm soapy water and letting it soak.
Good luck! :D
rub peanut butter on it works too if someone gets gum in hair or even for pets getting it in their fur.
WD-40, works great and has 2000 other uses
lighter fluid
