Laundry disaster... Need help!?
Question:I mixed some white items with red and now I have pink socks, pink sports t-shirt... The clothes are still wet at this moment (i'm soaking them to keep them from drying). Any suggestions on eliminating the pink at least to the point that its not so girlie? LOL
Thanks for any help offered.

put them straight back in the wash at a higher temperarture it should come out
if not you can get colour run at supermarkets
Put all the whites in a 60 degree wash or higher now. the colour will come out of them if you wash them straight away. put some wash powder in aswell.
Wash the whites in hot water with plenty of chlorine bleach. You may have to do this a couple of times. Also, a good long presoak (in the washer with the bleach) might help too. (Just make sure the clothes are bleach safe before you do it.
Keep them wet and get down the supermarket to get the sheets that take out dye that's run. Failing that try washing them again without the red thing or embrace pink, it's a cool colour this season. Good luck.
wash them again with alot of chlorine and hot water
men were pink
they always say real men wear pink
but i wouldnt want my future husband 2 have pink socks haha
very hot water and bleach
use a product called 'rescue it' made by company called Glo Care - can be found in most supermarkets near laundry products. Seems to suck the colour out of most white items but beware anything with colour in it (ie black and white - now black and pink - will also be bleached).
best thing to use if your mixing whites and colours in same wash (not a gread idea as you've discovered) is a product by same company called 'colour catcher' a sort of tissue thing that you stick in laundry and all colour that runs goes into tissue.
We've all been there mate...hope this is useful!!
cold water or if you got any net curtain whitener or glo white
you can buy a product called RUNAWAY at your local supermarket . it will remove all the dye that has leaked so should restore your whites
Go easy on the bleach - you could find holes appearing in things as it "burns" through!
My husband did that once - accidently put some red pyjames in with baby's terry towel napkins; fortunately the baby was a girl! She was a trend setter even at that age!!
buy some lingerie white from the supermarket (near the soap powders) and follow instructions for soaking whites. Bit expensive but really worth it. Good luck
cillit bang the toilet cleaner one
soak them in a solution with cold water for a few hours
