How do I clean a slate tile floor?
Question:There are water stains from plants on it.

just completed mine this week and the installer said to use vinegar and water
mop the floor.
Pine sol and water. Nothing too harsh.
I bet vinegar water would be good for it. Regular soap cleaners will leave a film.
the polish has mixed with the water that is way its white,i found that if you wipe the mark with johnsons one go it dissapears.
I agree with the vinegar and water for the slate tile floor. There is another product that would be good and it is a natural product non toxic Simple Green diluted with water.
I'g go to lowe's and ask them if there is any special way you have to clean it.
