Answers:
mr muscle drain cleaner

Make sure there is a water trap 'u' bend on the drain under the sink or that it isn't leaking! Seems like you may be sniffing straight out of the sewer!
Mr.muscle drain cleaner is very good. Be sure to leave it for the alloted time before running water down the sink. Also Jeyes fluid is good.
the smell will be caused by stagnate water, in either your u bend or trap underneath your sink or in the gully your sink disposes to, you can try Mr muscle drain cleaner, but be care-full to wear gloves as you have already used caustic soda, and this burns the skin in direct contact, if that fails you should plunge the external gully to clear
You need to get a plumber in to check it out - could be something jammed in the pipe under the sink...I dread to think what it could be, though, if it's making a stink like that...
There is a P trap on the sink, I assume. Is a garbage disposal involved? We run a batch of ice through ours to clean the diposal. Then run a lemon or an orange through it to give the kitchen a citrus smell.

As for the sink, I would pull the P trap and make sure it is clean. good luck.
You will need to unscrew the u-bend and give it a good clean out to make sure there is no gunk stuck in it. Then put it back on and pour a bag of soda crystals into the plughole and wash down with a kettle of boiling water. If it is still rotten then you may need to get a plumber in.
Sounds like something may be stuck (and rotting in the pipe.
Fill a bucket with hot soapy water.
Turn your water off at the mains and then unscrew the pipe from under the sink so you can clean it out.
Make sure you do the bucket before you turn the water off!!
Say "Begone! Foul smell!" and sprinkle it with toenail clippings.

Or, take the pipe apart and have a looksie in there, then have a dig around in the drain out side. Some little critter might have died in there before you moved in, or you could have decaying leaf mulch sitting in the aperture..
I have rung plumbers for advice about little things. I sound like a simpering woman and they tell me all their little tips and tricks instead of coming over and charging me a fortune.
The only thing I can think of is to call your local plumber as there may be something stuck along your pipes somewhere. When my sink smells usually bleach does it, but yours sounds like there is something there that whatever you put down isn't getting to it. I would do something as soon as possible, you don't want this to be a permanent thing in your new house
When I lived on city water and sewer, I used to send a section of lemon down my disposer once a week to keep it fresh. However, I have heard that to grind citrus rind on a septic is one of the worst things you can do.
Mix baking soda with salt, pour down the drain then pour vinegar down the drain let sit and bubble for a while make sure to rinse well as the vinegar will crode...repeat as necessary
Is it a garbage disposal? Try a drain cleaner like Drano Max or foaming pipe snake (the foaming pipe snake needs to sit overnight). If that does not do the trick, you may have to get a professional in there to figure it out, someone like Mr. Ruter or a plumber.
sink cleaner is probably the best way or some hot water and bleach
try this: mix 1 cup baking soda and 1 cup salt.tip a quarter of this into the drain .follow with a pot of boiling water and flush with cold water.do it very often.
mr muscle sink and plughole unblocker is a fantastic product-you just pour it down the plughole and leave for 1/2 an hour or overnight and smells and blockages will have gone.
pour vinegar down the drain with baking soda, after that occasionally sprinkle the baking soda down the drain and a bit of lemon juice. You might want to consider having a plumber check it out, as a free flowing drain shouldn't have something that stinks that bad.
