Brasso liquid can polisher questions?

Question:hello, i just bought a small can of brasso so i can use it on my ipod but i heard that it stains clothing, pernament terrible smell, and its semi toxic. Can some one tell me if all these things are true cause if it is im going to go outside with a mask, and clothes i dont wear anymore to use it.

This is interesting. I've used bunches of Brasso in the past. I've always used inside, in close space rooms. It's got potential to stain cloths. A mask is never needed with it. However, I'd use something different on an Ipod. What about 409 on a paper towel? Brasso would work cool on like car chrome??
