Does clorox and break fluid make smoke?

Clorine and break fluid is a dangerous combination. I would suspect that bleach and BF would yield smoke or at the very least, a deadly gas. I saw a fireman mix granular chlorine for a pool with BF in a 55gal drum and the flames shot about 10 feet up.
