What takes permanent Sharpie marker off of skin?
Question:My 4 year old got off to herself yesterday & drew all over herself. She used a permanent black Sharpie! I scrubbed & scrubbed with soap & water last night but it didn't not take the marker off. What can I use to get this off?
Answers:
You can try nail polish remover or maybe baby oil.
Whatever you use though, make sure you wash the area thoroughly with water and a gentle soap when you're done, and moisturize so she doesn't end up with a skin irritation.

Time. It will take a long time. The ink has absorbed into the lower dermis of the skin. The only things that would remove it would cause more harm.
I'm sure you're aware you should keep those out of your baby's reach from now on.
I don't know why it wouldn't come off, we write on each other all the time up here. If it is really stuck, try toothpaste and shampoo, that seems to work for just about everything.
I have used rubbing alcohol I would apply to cloth or wash cloth and apply.

I have a 3 1/2 year old and no matter what I do, she seems to find the sharpie's, too!
It usually takes time for it to wear off...I have tried it all, too! No worries...she is a toddler. I try not to sweat the small stuff :) Good luck and enjoy her!
