White t-shirt battle with armpit stains.?
Question:Over time my white t-shirts start to develop those yellow armpit stains. Are those stains from my deoderant? I have to wear deoderant but how do I prevent my white t-shirts from getting those yellow armpit stains?
Answers:
Whether or not you can prevent the stains, I don't know. However, peroxide is great at taking them out of white. So is a paste of baking soda and vinegar, just make sure that you only add the vinegar a drop at a time.
change your deoderant! once the stains are there, they will never come out, so you have to be more careful not to let them get stained in the first place. Every time you wear the shirt, you should put a little detergent right onto the armpit area and let sit for a few mins before washing. and really, you should change your deoderant, or don't use so much!
Use bleach when you wash your shirt. That should do the job.
Old Spice Red Zone.
White t-shirt... and body sweat = yellow stains. I wear white t-shirts under my work shirts, because my work shirts are so uncomfortable to wear if not. I go through them like you wouldn't believe. Its just part of life, and perspiring. If you stop sweating, then your not drinking enough water.
You can help prevent the stains by pre-treating the area's before laundering each time. A few sprays of Grease Lighting would do the trick.
you can try changing deodorants first. I had that problem years ago when i was wearing secret and now I use Arrid and don't have the problem as much, but if I do sweat a lot in one day I put fels-naptha soap on the armpit of the shirt before I wash it. Also, you can try to get a prescription antiperspirant from your Dr. They work really well, but for a lot of people it irritates their armpits.
Instead of adding bleach to your whites try 1 cup ammonia.Make sure you do a double rinse.
you can't prevent that it just happens
