I have dvd that is coated with hair spray residue, what can I use to clean the surface?

Question:water and soap are not working I thought about rubbing alcohol maybe?

Answers:
TOOTHPASTE?!??!?????

please dont take that guys advice, thats goofy as hell.

i would definitely try the rubbing alcohol, that stuff gets stuff done. =)

believe it or not, a litttle bit of toothpaste and a slightly damp paper towel will do the job. just make sure that is past, not jell
60% isopropyl alcohol will do the trick. No acetone based products, like nail polish remover, MEK, MPK, etc. Only Isopropyl. (aka "rubbing alcohol")
Get Clearscan, no streak formula.
