I just bought a new front load washer, and now I have a question I didn't think to ask.?

Question:I don't use liquid bleach any more. Instead, I use Oxy Clean powder. Does anyone know if you can use it in front load HE washers? If so, do I put it in the bleach dispenser, and it will work?

Answers:
I always dissolved it in water first anyhow- but doesn't it have instructions on container or in manual for HE

How they work is the loading tray has a stream of water that runs through and collects the powder or liquid. It should be safe to use the powder in the loading tray. Test it once. Unless the thing specifically says do not use "powdered bleach" than it shouldn't make a difference.
I have to use "Iron-Out" every time I wash whites. I put the Iron-Out in the detergent dispenser (with the little "door" in the up position). I let some water run through it; then I pause the washer and add my liquid detergent. It may take a few more moments, but it works just fine. I suppose Oxy Clean powder could work in the bleach dispenser, but try it without a load of clothes first.
IF Oxy-Clean powder does NOT generate suds, it can be used. The only reason front loading washers require HE (high efficiency) detergent is because the water pumps rotate at such a high speed they will instantly create foam when in contact with regular detergent. However, I have run calls on these machines for customers who have used Oxy-Clean and have ended up cleaning out the pump every time. I strongly recommend giving away your Oxy-Clean to your regular-washer friends. For heavens sake, do NOT put anything except bleach in the bleach dispenser. These dispensers use a siphon system, something that will immediately get clogged up with any powder.
I dont think it really matters does it? Anyways, if you are still unsatisfied, i suggest ringing the Manufacturere or the Shop from where you purchased it...
yes just put it in where it says powder i have used it and it works just fine
