What is a good brand of vacuum?
Question:I am looking for something in the $50-$75 range, WITH a bag. I really can't spend any more than that, so please don't recommend expensive ones! Thanks... Oh, and it would also be really helpful if you know what stores carry the vacuum you recommend.
Answers:
I know a recent Consumer Report's test rated Kenmore as one of the top vacuums that both works efficiently and is modestly priced. They're available only at your local Sears.
Cheers!! :)
hoover
umm ur should get a dyson, they are amazing, but there going to cost a little more then $75...
hoover are good

orec xL. thats the best i have ever had
I got one with a bag from Wal-mart for around that price, and it works pretty well for us. I think it's a Dirt Devil brand.
dyson all the way "Goodbye BAG"
Dirt Devil, Bissel, and Hoover
eletrolux will do it perfectly. and in affordable price, you can find it in hardware store. there's a lot of hardware store in a city. you can compare price from different store.
You won't find much for new in that price range.
Check out an upright Dirt Devil. They may be that inexpensive and do work fairly well. Otherwise, you may want to look for a used unit that still looks and works well.
dirt devil i like the bagless ones every major comp makes a real good vacuum in that price range just about anyway
walmart....great prices
Kenmores are the best, but in your price range a Hoover will work.
bissel if you want to go cheap, i have several brands but only the bissel has lasted me 13 years
dirt devil

since you've got a limited budget, you might want to look at some of the more expensive vacuums for reviews and then see if you can find one used on craigslist or at a garage sale.
I believe that you are looking for a compact vaccum. check wal-mart. besides eureka (which I really like) They offer several brands in your price range.

Hoover Tempo Widepath U5140-900 Est Price $60.00
Lightweight bagging vacuum.Although reviews say it's nothing fancy, we found excellent ratings for the 16-pound Tempo Widepath from experts and from satisfied owners who say you get a lot of vacuum for your $60. The lightweight Hoover Tempo is easier to push and pull than others, and it does a very good job on carpet and rugs. Because its brushroll doesn't turn off, however, it may not be the best on bare floors. One drawback may be its short 25-foot power cord. (compare prices)

If you have pets, Dyson is the best way to go. But they are more expensive. I purchased a Dirt Devel at WalMart for $80 and it clogged after the first use. The Dyson is the best I have ever used.
