How do u clean laminate flooring, or what can u use?
Question:just put in laminate flooring in our new place and was just wondering what can u use to clean the floors.
Answers:
Any floor cleaner is fine, I would suggest just not letting it get too wet (like a puddle) around the edges or seams (if any) for a few months, or until you know the glue is good and stuck.
I use the swiffer mop.
anything that you would use on a tile floor would work
i just mop mine with water and bleach
u can use anything on it
I'm usually use a mop, with something that smells and cleans good. I like Mr Clean. Once in a while i'm on my hands and knees cleaning the floor. That way you get the corners and stuff really good. That is just me though.
I have laminate floors in my bathrooms and I use PineSol. They have quite a few different scents. (My favorite is the blue, but I cannot remember the name of it) Just dilute it according to directions and you can mop or sponge clean it. :)
Dont use bleach on the floor, It will take about the protective covering on it...
You can use a Microfiber mop QVC.com has a really nice 1... that .. If you are worried about grems use a grem cleaing spray and leave product.
Or a damp, not wet mop with a lil murphys oil soap...
swiffer or look for any cleaning products that you can use on wood or laminate.
I have used a few different things. I've tried the Swiffer wet cloths and Armstrong spray cleaner for laminate floors-you can get a special mop for this to. it's microfiber cloth stretched over the base. I also scrub with just plain water sometimes to remove any gunk left by cleaning products just in case! The Armstrong spray really makes it shine though!
