They do?!

PLEASE send one my way!!
I will put him to work!

because it is quiet
huh? what, like if you do it for them? my husband thinks anything i do so he doesn't have to is relaxing...for him.
Because, while she's ironing, she's not nagging.
cos it gets ur wife off ur back????
Because they think that anything we do time & time & time again where we stand still and don't have to move great distances is relaxing.
I cured my husband of this notion when I broke my leg in the middle of a hot summer early in our relationship and HE had to do all the ironing for 10 weeks as I couldn't stand!
I iron my own shirts- I like to wear all cotton-anyway, it's almost always the last thing I do when the laundry's all done-we have three kids, and when the pile's been whittled down to the inevitable odd sock,it's a real good feeling...I can sit back for an hour or so, grab the guitar, turn on the amp(I soundproofed a room in the basement), and play some blues..
Which men is that?

I loathe ironing and find it anything but relaxing.
I also like doing dishes, vacuuming and mopping the kitchen floor. Nice mindless and quiet work. It helps me to relax and ponder the mysteries of life. Really does.... well maybe not the mysteries of life, but I do ponder.
If you've found a man that thinks ironing is relaxing, hand him the laundry!!!!!
Because they're relaxing and watching TV while yo do all the work!;)
