Does static cling window tint actually work, and for how long?
Question:
Answers:
Yes. I got some for my house, put it in the kitchen window, in the bathroom window, and have had good luck with them. The kitchen window ones look like stained glass. Love them. The bathroom window ones look like the opaque glass. I live in the south, and the kitchen window faces the south, so it's in the sun all day. The static cling tints have been up there for over 2 years. I take them down occasionally to clean them, and of course, under the window, to refresh the clingy-ness. I really like them for privacy. I live on a major road, lots of traffic.
yes it works if you put it on right. it will stay as long as you want it to as long as you keep the corners in tact. if it tries to come loose, just spray some more soapy water behind it and squeege with a credit card to get that down. I love mine!
yes, you can get just tinted or also decorative. If you are using tinted and you live where you have winter, you may want to take it down in the winter. It is reusable over and over. Keep the paper it comes on and label it with which window it goes into. Be sure to follow the directions. Works great. -- Not the same as the stuff at the auto store for cars.
