I accidently washed some white clothes with colored..any way to get the 'gray' look out?
Question:I can't use bleach on some of them because they have other colors and I don't want the colors to bleach out...any ideas?
Answers:
I agree with the other contributors, who say that bleach is probably okay, or that you can use colorsafe bleach if you're still not comfortable with regular bleach.
Another option is OxyClean or a similar product. You can get OxyClean at Target now; you don't have to order it direct anymore.
Good luck!
why dont you dye them. I'm not sure if they have white dye for clothe dying. They have all the other colors.
Clothes with other colors mixed in with the print are what you call, colorfast fabric. That means they are bleach safe. Go ahead and bleach them. You also might want to read the washing instructions on the lable in the garment.
there is a cloth that you can use in the laundry that is supposed to life the color out of the water, preventing it from landing on your whites. I have seen it in my grocery store. It is certainly worth a try! otherwise, try re washing them with a bleach safe for colors, that may also help.
Buy Clorox 2 and that should work!
