I found a tick...?
Question:i found a tick in my room and killed it. about a month later i found another one on me and i ripped it off and threw it because i was so freaked out. i proceeded to spray my carpet with cleaner, vacum it, and sprayed the baseboards with spray. do you think that its still alive?haha i know it sounds stupid this happened saturday or sunday i think.

You might want to see a doc. If you rip it off the venom and those tubes it uses to suck blood are still in ur skin. You might be okay might not. You could also use ORKIN man. : )
Yeah, I think it may still be alive. Just make sure you wash EVERYWHERE very well to make sure you find ticks and get them off of you within 24 hours so you don't get lime disease.
I have had ticks on me, my dogs, and my husband...don't panic. You'll eventually find it if you haven't already killed it. And so long as there is not a rash developing around the sore (or within the next 30 days) you will be fine. I have had (or have) Lyme disease and my husband got rocky mountain fever from a tick. they're both treatable/curable, but if your worried just get yourself checked out at the doctors
Ticks like dark and cool places I wouldn't leave any pillow unturned. You also have to think about furniture, bedding everything in your place should be clean. It's like lice people only think about it being in the hair on your head, don't forget we have hair all over our bodies.
