How long do you let grout dry after tiling before you wipe it off.?
Question:
Answers:
Wipe it off the tile right away, otherwise you will be stuck scraping and scrubbing it off each tile, and you'll probably ruin the finish.
Just a few minutes, once it's dry your sol
You need a very large sponge, keep wringing it, wipe carefully, keep on doing it until you can shape the grout between the tiles with the sponge. At the end, you should have very neat grout lines and just a light haze on the tiles, which you can usually get with dry rags, or wet, if need be, but very carefully, as the grout will still be a bit wet. Cleaning the tiles is a slow painstaking chore, you can't wait more than a few minutes before you start. If there is anything left the next day, get one of those green scrub sponges and go over every surface of the tile.
immediately!
you should wipe off the excess immediately using diagonal strokes with a very damp large small pour sponge, if you use straight strokes when wiping it will remove to much material.
then you must let it dry 24 hrs this the standard drying time for grout, after-wards using a clean dry lint free rag to lightly remove the haze and buff the tile. if you follow the first part of the grouting application the second step is easy and rewarding, yea the whole thing takes a little time but it is certainly well worth it.
