HOw do I clean my Duvet cover and PIllows without paying a fortune at the cleaners?

Go to a laundromat and put them in. Just make sure everything is thoroughly dried.
put them in the washer on the gentle cycle with woolite or a mild clothes detergent. i never take stuff to the cleaners, even if it says dry clean only. the washer works fine and has never ruined anything.
you might not want to dry your pillows though...just lay them out to try preferably in a sunny place outside :-)
I use the Dryel at-home dry cleaning kit. It makes everything fresh and clean. You just put your items in the bag with the dry cleaning cloth and then toss it in the dryer.
I use it for dress pants or dry-clean only sweaters, too.
