If you use a measuring cup for water during cooking, do you wash it, or just put it back?

I don't wash it either, just for water!
dry it off and just put it back. it's just water.
If I only used it for water and didn't dirty the outside with stuff on my hands from other food being prepared at the same time it just goes on the dish drying rack.
I put it in the dishwasher if my hands are yukky. If they aren't, I wipe the cup dry with paper towel.

i just put it back. i have to many dishes to wash that are actually dirty.

Put it in the drainer and let it dry, then put it away.
What a hoot! If you wash it, it STILL has water on it. lol
after I finish using the cup I dry and put away.
