How do I clean the screen sliding doors in my condo? Tiny bugs get stuck (Yay!) No yard to use a hose...?

Question:I have tried vacuuming, that doesn't work.

Answers:
Take a broom and a bucket of soapy water to it.=)

Can you remove the screen and put it in the bathtub or shower stall? I have one of those shower heads that is attached to a hose and you can spray the screens and clean them that way. I have too much yard and no lawn mower for a quarter acre. I have to go borrow the neighbors.
when removing insects from anything, it's usually water, or a solvent that is the only thing that will work.

I'd suggest, if their removable screens, that you clean them either in the bathroom (preferably in a tub), or in the kitchen.

If they aren't removable, the only solution I can think of is to take a wash cloth (Preferably old or disposable) and a good cleaning solution (bleach or something less hazardous), then rub gently until they come unstuck.
If you can't remove the screens then i'd try a bucket of soapy water and a hard bristle brush, the kind that you use to wash the tires on your car. First, go over the screens with a dry brush to break up as much dirt and bug juice as you can, and then follow over it with the soapy water...once you have gotten it as clean as you think possible, empty the soapy water and fill with clean water and scrub it again to remove any excess soap from the screen. Let it dry and it should look much better.
I have the same problem in my condo as well...

I used air in a can last year but this year I am using a portable battery/air pump. It works very well. Get an old toothbrush to get the baked on insects. Take it from someone who has the experience with living near the water in Detroit. I have an annual mayfly experience

Good luck.

STAR for your Question
I have been using the same thing for 20 years. Get a piece of carpet. Use it as a rag, and scrub. If you want to wash the screen, do it after you used the carpet. All my neighbors are copying me.
Just brush it over gently from both sides using the brush from a dust pan. If you do it often, usually once a week that should be enough. But sometimes get a damp rag and wipe over after you have brushed.
