How can you grow mold in your bathroom!?

Question:And please don't say that its impossible because its not! I say it yesterday in my bathroom right by my bathtub!!

Answers:
the bathroom is a perfect place to grow mold

Mold likes warm, moist environment

Simply shower in hot water, leave the windows closed, close the shower curtain even after you shower & after it dries.. Never, ever let any sunlight... never rinse or clean with anything other than warm water & then

TaaDaaa you got mold... now give it just a little more time & you got more mold

so.. did you really want to know how to grow mold in your bathroom

Or are you wanting to know how to get rid of it??

To rid a bathroom of mold:
wash with hydrogen peroxide... let that simply sit Then wash with backing soda as a paste mixed with vingar -- make sure you get all of the surfaces (ever looked under the faucet or the soap dish in the bathtub?)

Will rid of that problem if you will begin to use this at least 1nce per month

Make sure you also clean your shower curtan & any window.. whenever possible open the window to let humidity out after showering.. leave it open until shower curtain is completely dry

In very humid environments or when no window present, then it is best to clean 1nce per week

Rinse everything.. or wipe down everything after cleaning (walls, mirror, wood cabinets, inside closets) with a solution of 1 part vinegar to 5 parts water

MUSHROOM?!!?
i have no idea how a mushroom would start growing in your bathtub. however, it is in the fungus family & I would PULL THE MUSHROOM OUT. Look for rotting or water damage in the bathroom wall.. and then proceed with cleaning as stated for mold

try using the fan or vent your bathroom. Hot steam collects as water on the walls. Water in dark places makes mold.
Bathroom water problems allow water penetration into the bathroom walls and floor, etc... causing mold to grow. Pretty much too much moisture in the bathroom. You should try turning a fan on in the bathroom so it can dry in there. You can use white vinegar and water, hydrogen peroxide and water or bleachand water to kill mold (one or the other, do not mix them).

Update: I just found this site with other people who have found mushrooms growing in their bathrooms. http://radar.spacebar.org/f/a/weblog/com...

mold grows in damp, moist places

make sure to use the fan in the bathroom if you have one, if not, keep the door open while in the shower or open the window during and after your shower.

spray with daily shower cleaner to prevent the growth
Anytime you have an area that has 85-100% Relative Humidity with the temperatures above 65-85 degrees farenheit you can start to breed most types of common fungus and molds.

If for some reason you wish to prevent this, you need to eliminate the humidity problem and clean thoroughly with a bleach/water solution to kill that which you cannot yet see.
Do you want to grow it?? That's the way your question is worded. If you want it to grow, never clean out your tub and make sure it is always moist and hyumid. If you don't want mold, wipe down your walls after use. If you want to kill the mold, use watered down bleach or a bleach based product when you clean your tub.
hahaha for real? a mushroom? i'm sorry, it's just that seems really funny!

u have to try to ventilate the br like the others have been saying, if there's no window then run the fan and maybe a dehumidifier, clean the curtains a lot and clean the br at least twice a week thoroughly. my bf had a really *nasty* shower curtain before i met him!
