How do you remove wax from a stuff animal?

Question:How do you remove wax from a teddy bear that has dried? I go some of it out with water and soap but now the fur "fake" is not like the rest how do i fix that?

Answers:
There are two methods ... one hot and one cold ... Which method is better will depend on the access and angles you have.

Cold: Take an ice cube and place it directly on the wax freezing it. The wax will become brittle and flake off if you run your finger nails over it.

Hot: Place a white piece of paper over the area and lightly iron the wax. The wax will melt and absorb into the paper and your teddy bear will be as good as new.

One the fur is either cooled off from the iron or the cold wax has been flaked off brush the area with a rough clothe or old toothbrush to get the fur back to its original state.

With brown paper and a warm to hot iron. Place the paper over the wax stain, iron over it with your iron& the wax will lift onto the paper
Sometimes you can get wax out by rubbing it with an ice cube, or you can try laying a paper towel over the wax and gentle heating the spot with an iron {the wax should stick to the paper towel}. Good luck.
