Mildew spots on colored shirt?
Question:My daughter threw a wet t-shirt in to the hamper where it sat for a few days before I got to it. When I did I noticed it had a few mildew spots on it. The country we live in (Romania) does not have bleach for colors (that I have seen) and I can't seem to get it out.
Answers:
"Make a paste of lemon juice and salt and rub it on the stains, then dry the clothes in sunlight. Repeat the process until the stain is gone. This works well for rust stains on clothing too". This came from my Reader's Digest book "Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Things". It doesn't say not to try on color clothes so hopefully this helps!

My son did this to one of his shirts. I tried everything to get it out and couldn't. Now he just wears it around the house to mow or weed eat in!
