Cleaning Coir mattress?

Question:My six year old coir mattress is as firm as a new one but the look has soiled over the years. Can I wash it and let it dry in the sun?

Or are there any other alternatives?? (Dry cleaning??)

Answers:
You can wash coir and leave it out to air dry. It will look cleaner but not new. The original color of coir can never come back and it is something that can not be stained.
