How do I remove a stain from a cast iron pan from my butcher block wood counter?

Question:I set my cast iron skillet to dry on my wood counter and now it has left a dark ring on the wood that I can't scrub off. I have tried white vinegar which has helped a bit, but the stain is still very apparent. Any ideas?

Answers:
Spray orange oil on it. It;s because it got wet and it made a wet ring.

Sand if off then apply some walnut oil or lemon oil
brillo will do it, but it will also remove any finish that is on the counter. Bleach might do it as well
It was my fault :( sorry!!

i put lots of white vinegar and still look the same :( boooo
Make Elsa lick it off until its clean

LOLOLOL
I like the "Sand it off" suggestion. That's what I would do.
use a single blade razor, and scrap off the stain, and then reoil the block
