How do you remove blood from light colored carpet?

Question:my dog cut his toung while I was out and bleed all over my house.

Answers:
try peroxide

Hydrogenperoxid, and brush gently.
Pour Hydrogen Peroxide on spot, blot with clean, white towel and repeat until stain is removed. You can let the peroxide soak in for a few seconds each time you do this.
I asked a doctor once how he got blood off his clothes and he said hydrogen peroxide. I've never tried it but I'm guessing he would know. lol
You can use Spot Shot, or Shout, DO NOT USE BLEACH!
Try Oxyclean, or a laundry stain removal product that has Oxy action or something similar on the label. These products can be found in most department stores including walmart.

Make sure that any product you use claims to be color safe, hydrogen peroxide is not! And test the product in an inconspicuous area first and leave the area overnight, to be sure that it does not damage your carpeting.
hydrogen peroxide. My son cut his arm a couple weeks ago. A bike wreck. got blood all over his clothes verily new shirt and I used peroxide. My husband is a nurse he uses it all the time to get blood stains out of his scrubs. I would suggest putting the peroxide on a cleaning towel then blot the carpet make sure it does not fade the carpet.
