Removing stains from laundry?
Question:I don't have stain remover right now and I want to add something to the clothes to remove any/all stains (food). What can I use instead? Thanks

Try hydrogen peroxide. If you don't have any, then take a bar of soap, rinse stain in warm water, and saturate it with the soap. Try to scrub it off with another part of the fabric. Rinse off. If it still isn't coming off, then soap it up again and let it soak to the side for a while.
Do you have any dish washing liquid...you could rub that directly on the stain(s)...fill up the washer, put your laundry soap in, let the washer agitate for a minute, then stop it and let the clothes soak for 30 minutes or so...turn the washer back on and let it finish the cycle...should do it!
Clorox 2 is good, You can use it in colored clothes too.
If you don't have that and don't want to go buy it, A half cup of baking soda will help if you let clothes sit in the water a few minutes
It always depends on the kind of stain you wish to remove. For example. If it´s blood stain´s ,you need to soak the garment in cold water & add salt, making sure the stain as been removed , before washing on a normal wash. If it´s something like red wine stain´s ,you remove red wine by pouring white wine over the stain then blotting, before washing on a normal wash. lipstick stain´s and most other makeup stains, can be removed by adding a little of your own dish washing up liquid. Add a little to the stain ,rub in with your finger´s , then rinse .Like I said just depend´s on the stain. Hope this of help to you
Hydrogen Proxide, baking soda and vinagar are all good to use as cleaners. They are all natural and will work.
